FOUNDING STORY

(A) PRELUDE & BEGINNING:

• My fascination with the creativity & wonder of technology and science has only intensified as I've delved deeper into the realms of science, science fiction, books, and video games.

∞ THE GENESIS

• The love for these subjects evolved into a yearning to unite like-minded individuals who shared this passion. Thus, the Quantumbiosis Society was born! To forge meaningful connections among its members, I turned to the internet and, specifically, web3.

∞ WEB3 & NFTs:

• I sought a digital representation for Quantumbiosis Society members, something concrete yet 'non-fungible.' The concept of an NFT collection emerged during a moment of deep thought. This would also be a fantastic means to grow the company and build the brand.

∞ CHOOSING THE SUBJECT:

• The blockchain is the embodiment of a digital eternity. Without the biological, the digital would not exist. The closest biological equivalent to a blockchain is the resilient and extraordinary Tardigrade!
• Tardigrades have existed for 500+ million years, are incredibly resilient, adaptable, and can survive in the most savage environments like extreme temperatures, radiation, and the vacuum of space! The Tardigrade inspired our name, The Quantumbiosis Society, with 'Quantum' representing a 'discrete quantity' (often the smallest) and 'biosis' signifying 'mode of life.'

∞ THE WORK:

• Crafting the NFT artwork was an arduous endeavor that spanned nearly 2 years. Our commitment to excellence led us to refine the core elements six months in, extending the project timeline but ultimately yielding remarkable results.
• The images were painstakingly crafted using Adobe Photoshop on a MacBook Pro with just a touchpad. Pushing my computer to its limits, I encountered memory issues, had a screen go bad, wore a hole in my 'Command' button, and eventually died altogether!

(Ω) SOCIETY & FUTURE:

• To establish a gathering place for the Society, I created a Discord server with an immersive experience for members. I eagerly await the arrival of members and look forward to the server's growth and enhanced features for NFT holders. As we grow, we will branch out to other forms of media, but the NFT collection will remain a core part of the society.
